General FAQs
How does a digital product work?
Depending on the usage of products, we offer different file types. For our Vector Packs, you will receive an .ai file alongside PNGs. Our Context Generators include a .gh file and 3DM file, alongside instructions. Our Cutout Packs are PNG based.
Please refer to the details on each product page for specific file types included in your purchase.
Do I already need to know how to use Grasshopper to use scripts?
No, all our scripts are designed to be easily operated even if you have no prior knowledge of grasshopper, and come with full step-by-step instructions.
How can I order?
Our products are solely digital based, so after completion of payment you will be redirected to a page to download our purchase. You will also receive a confirmation email containing this link with details of your order.
Can I request a product?

What is your refund policy?
The digital nature of our products, means we cannot offer refunds. However, if you do encounter any issues we encourage you to reach out to us atcontext.labs.store@gmail.comso we can resolve them.
Licences and Terms of Service
The usage of our products depends on the license version you buy.
Educational Use
Work completed with the license version of “Educational Use” permits you to only use for academic purposes. If work or projects containing the use of Context Labs products is published on social media, you must give appropriate credit as part of this.
Professional Use
Work completed with the license version of “Professional Use” permits you to us our products for commercial purposes. It does not allow you to use our contents for reproduction or download to others.
How will I receive my products after purchase?
Following purchase you will be emailed a link to download your products.

Can I use purchased content in commercial projects?
We offer two licenses when you purchase any product.
Products purchased with an educational licence can only be used for personal or educational projects where you are not receiving any payment for the work done.
Products purchased with a commercial licence can be used freely, the only restriction being that you cannot resell or distribute products.
How do you ensure creator products are not stolen/copyrighted ?
Context Labs takes every precaution to make sure the work submitted by creators belongs to them and is free of copyright issues.
Should you have any concerns that a product on our site might have been stolen from another creator without permission or have some other copyright issues please contact us with further details. We will take immediately action to remove the relevant products. Any creators found to have been deliberately engaging in deceitful practices will be banned from our marketplace and all their products removed.
Creators
How much will I make from each sale?
Context Labs will pay you 50% commission for each sale. This means if a product sells for $10, you will receive $5.
We think this is a fair rate in exchange for taking care of site hosting, processing payments, fulfilling orders, offering customer support, and marketing your products. We also pay all the fees associated with all of these operations, allowing you to start selling with no upfront or ongoing costs.
In some circumstances we may be able to review the commission rate for new sellers, such as if you have an exceptional large library of products you would like to bring to the platform. If you think this may apply to you please feel free to reach out to the team to discuss further.
From time to time we may offer discounts to potential customers on individual products or as part of a site-wide promotion. We do this in order to try and maximise the reach for your products and the return you receive for listing products on the marketplace. Where a product is purchased at a discount, sellers will be paid commission on the discounted sale price.
How will I be paid?
We use a globally established third-party payment processor to handle sales. When you register as a creator, you will be asked to set up an account with the payment processor in order to receive your payouts.
Following a purchase of one of your products, your commission will be automatically calculated and paid out. This should happen immediately after a successful payment by the buyer, thought the funds may take a few days to be processed and settle in your account.
Payments will be paid out in $USD. If you do not currently have a bank account that can accept $USD, we can advise on some free, easy to use and globally-available banking services for receiving $USD.
Can I set my own prices?
When you submit your products you will have the option to put in a guide price. The Context Labs team will take your guide price into consideration when pricing products but may increase or decrease the price to better align with market pricing.
Context Labs may also change the price over time in response to market demand, or from time to time offer discounts across some products, to try and maximise the commission we can payout to you.
If you decide to make your products free to download through our site, we will never change this unless you ask us to.

What kinds of products can I submit?
We welcome all digital products that have some use for architectural professionals. If a product category is not on our site, we may still be interested ion your product, and can add new categories.
If you have a product and you are unsure whether whether it's something we'd be interested in, please feel free to reach out and we can advise.
Is there anything I can't submit?
Context Labs reserves the right to approve or reject products on an individual basis and to our own judgement.
We will not accept any content that we think is poor quality or cannot help our customers in some way.
Products that are overly similar to existing products on our store may be refused for this reason.
We will also not accept any content that we think is likely to offend, or that is in bad taste.

Can I submit products that have been made with AI?
We recognise that there's many ways to use artificial intelligence in the creative process and potential products may make use of AI to varying degrees.
We have no specific rules against using AI to create products as long as products meet our quality standards.
We would advise though to be careful of relying on AI too much as quality can often be insufficient. You should also be aware of issues of copyright surrounding any AI tools you use.

Can I sell my products on other platforms while they are listed on Context Labs?
Absolutely! Under our standard agreement we don't ask for any exclusivity to sell your products.
That means you are free sell through other platforms as well as the Context Labs Marketplace.
